Happens

Happens

Bridging the saffron-green divide,
Overcoming the rupee-dollar barrier,
Crossing the hurdle of a boy-woman gap,
Sometimes, it just happens

When life is strolling in the park,
Mind is busy earning the roti.
Barraging through mundane tasks,
Sometimes, it just happens

Though it may come with expiry date,
Arrive with heartache attached,
May light up a very few days,
it just happens

For me, it came wrapped with flowers
And went with a serene silence…
For you, it may not have happened
No worries; it will just happen.
