Lie

Lie

Like a hurricane the time will fly
But a viscous lie will refuse to die

Zeal will disappear, so will the cheer
Sadness will set in without any tear

In long term the graves will be dug
Things will haunt, conscience will bug

Trust will be breached, dignity will be lost
Pain will cripple and energies will exhaust

Heart will be murdered, friendship killed
Mind will question new bonds we build

How much ever the guilty may cry
The poisonous lie will refuse to die
